Risk Disclosure

You can lose money trading, and you can lose it quickly. Do not trade with money you can't afford to lose.
Mimic does not advise you
Mimic shows what wallets have done. It doesn't say what you should do, and it doesn't know your circumstances. Every trading decision is yours alone. Consider speaking with a licensed professional before you trade.
Past results don't predict future results
A wallet's rank, win rate, PnL or Recommended status describes the past 30 days. Top wallets often stop performing, and many results come from luck that won't repeat.
- Survivorship. Leaderboards show winners by design. The far larger number of losing traders doesn't appear, so the board makes trading look easier than it is. Combined figures for "Top 100" wallets go up partly because they are chosen for having gone up.
- What's left out. Scores use realized PnL net of trading fees. Funding payments, open losses, spot positions and activity on other wallets or venues aren't included, so a high score can sit alongside a large unrealized loss. A wallet may be hedged elsewhere, so what looks like a bet may not be one.
- Different conditions. A wallet's size, entry prices, fees and speed aren't yours. If you act on what a wallet did, you act later, at a worse price, and possibly after it has already exited. Large wallets can move the market against anyone following them.
- Manipulation. Because wallets are public, some could trade to attract followers, then profit at their expense.
Perpetual futures and digital assets
- Leverage magnifies losses, and a small price move can liquidate your whole position.
- Funding costs can erode a position over time.
- Volatility and liquidity can be extreme, and prices can gap past stop levels.
- Platform and smart contract risk: exchanges, bridges and contracts can fail, be hacked or be halted, and funds may be lost with no recovery.
- Tokenized stock and index markets can diverge from the underlying asset, trade when its home market is closed, and aren't the same as owning the asset. They carry no investor protections of the kind you may get with a regulated broker.
- Legal and tax: these products may be restricted or illegal where you live, rules can change, and you are responsible for your taxes.
Data risk
Mimic's data can be delayed, wrong, incomplete or unavailable, and alerts can arrive late or not at all. The free plan's feed is deliberately delayed. Never rely on Mimic alone or for time-critical decisions.
